For schools with videoconferencing equipment, this service is provided to link them with the JANET videoconferencing service ( www.jvcs.ja.net ) which will provide you with the facilities to arrange videoconferences with other schools, colleges, universities, museums, libraries and archives throughout the UK and in other countries.
The set-up charge will include the link and associated software licensing costs and the bandwidth to be made available to facilitate the quality of videoconferencing services. This will also include initial technical and pedagogical training and appropriate documentation.
