| 142 delegates attended 6 workshop days at Manor Hall. These workshops were exclusively for FSPS sites as an opportunity for reception teachers and pre school practitioners to work together exploring the use of digital blue cameras in the foundation stage.
The day started with a talk from the Early Years advisory team followed by short demonstrations on how to use the digital camera. Delegates were then encouraged to use the camera to experiment with filming and downloading. More demonstrations followed and by the end of the day everyone had made, edited and saved a short film clip. They were then given a camera to take back to their setting. |
Professional dancer Miriam Keye led the morning session where delegates explored shapes through dance. Using the blue cameras a series of clips were filmed and during the afternoon the teachers and pre school practitioners learnt how to edit and add music to make a short movie which was downloaded onto a CD for them to take back to their setting.
