How do you display your treasures?
Displays of pupils work in design
and technology is essential to:
- provide stimulus materials for other groups undertaking a similar project
- celebrate pupils acheivements
- raise the ethos of the department by providing an exciting background to
- workshops, studios, food and textile practical areas
- provide information on constructional techniques and material knowledge
Here is a display of pupils products focusing on Automata. The display contains both finished artefacts and some of the design sheets from the pupils portfolios.

Displays of pupils work can also be used to help inform other pupils about aspects of knowledge that is core to learning about design.
In this Food product Funny Face Pizza the display incorporates pupils work but with added pointers to highlight features of a product in this case the ingredients of a pizza
In this display a range of pupils work has been used to highlight the use of Pasta in a range of dishes
In this display there is a focus on the design of a CD Player made from a variety of modelling type materials
