Warwickshire Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education

RE image These units of work and material within the guide have been developed by advisers and teachers in Warwickshire Education Authority.

These documents give guidance and summary explanations on the expectations of the Warwickshire Agreed Syllabus for religious education and the exemplar units of work.

The units are based on topic areas that are commonly taught in reception, and in key stages 3. Schools may select units to suit specific age groups in whatever order they choose. Each unit provides comprehensive guidance for a medium-term plan giving details of learning objectives, suggested activities, differentiation, resources, and assessment opportunities.

They take account of the coverage of religious traditions expected at each key stage but cannot be fully comprehensive because of the various options that schools may have.
